Preschool Teacher Bilingual

Foxberry Preschool located in Upland, CA, US is hiring a Preschool Teacher, bilingual (English/Chinese or English/Spanish) for an on-site full time position.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team for a bilingual program in English/Chinese or English/Spanish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and fosters early childhood development.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in the classroom.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Conduct assessments and standardized testing as required to monitor student progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• 12 units in Child Development and Education is required.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other innovative teaching approaches is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is essential.
• Background in special education or child welfare is advantageous.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience will be considered an asset.
