FinancialConsultant Responsibilities
As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be responsible for serving existing Schwab clients, providing them with wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals.
Required Qualifications- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license
- Obtaining or acquiring a FINRA Series 66 (or 63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance during your tenure
- Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen the client relationship by applying a focused client communication strategy and exceeding expectations
- Leverage Schwab specialists, Schwab advisory guidelines, knowledge of markets, and inspire action to help clients progress toward achieving their goals
- Openness to manage wealth on behalf of clients including Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning
- Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve
- Passion for community engagement and sharing market insights and sound investing principles
- Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience while furthering your own professional development in wealth management
