Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works as an assistant to the Registered Nurse under the supervision of a licensed RN. CNAs provide basic nursing services to ensure patient safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection.
ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with activities of daily living, including basic nursing personal care services, personal hygiene, and grooming. Support nursing staff with daily patient care tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing.
Minimum QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GED;
Certified Nursing Assistant Training Course completion preferred.
Experience: Relevant experience providing daily living assistance and basic nursing personal care.
Knowledge and
Skills:
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize and complete work assignments. Effective communication in English.
License and
Certifications:
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card required;
Current California CNA certificate preferred.
Equipment: None.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
Pay Range$21.00 - $29.12 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
