Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Value Chain (Going Going Gone!) seeks a hands-on Store Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, value-focused retail environment. You'll oversee staffing, scheduling, cash handling, and inventory accuracy while ensuring the store is clean, well-merchandised, and ready for customers. The Store Manager drives sales through strong customer service, effective markdowns, and efficient movement of closeout inventory. You'll hire, train, and coach associates, analyze KPIs, manage loss prevention, resolve customer concerns, and maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, opening/closing procedures, and cash handling to meet company standards.
• Hire, train, schedule, and coach associates to deliver strong customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Monitor inventory levels, execute markdowns, and manage incoming/outgoing merchandise for accuracy.
• Maintain visual merchandising, signage, and housekeeping standards to support sales and brand presentation.
• Analyze sales reports, KPIs, and shrink data to drive actions that improve profitability and reduce loss.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention practices.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally to reinforce a positive shopping experience.
• Plan and execute promotions, clearance events, and price changes to quickly move closeout inventory.
