COMPENSATION: From $18.00 per hour
LOCATION: Warehouse Facility
JOB TYPE: Full-time
SHIFTS: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
POSITION OVERVIEW:
A Warehouse Furniture Lumper is a manual laborer who specializes in loading and unloading heavy items, such as furniture, from trucks and containers. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a high level of precision in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle and move freight using various equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks, including hand stacking.
- Unload trucks, stack boxes, and build pallets.
- Break down and rebuild pallets, sort and organize cargo.
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity of warehouse workers.
- Maintain a clear, safe, and clean warehouse.
- Proven experience as a warehouse lumper or another warehouse position.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects.
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes.
