We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead the next phase of growth for a well-established, high-growth Fin Tech SaaS organization. This role will be responsible for translating company growth objectives into disciplined sales execution, team performance, and predictable revenue outcomes.
The Sales Director will provide hands-on leadership across the sales function, including strategy execution, team development, pipeline management, and cross-functional alignment. While maintaining executive visibility into key opportunities, the primary focus of this role is building a scalable sales organization, strengthening operating rigor, and ensuring consistent performance across inbound and outbound sales motions.
The ideal candidate brings a proven record of leading SaaS sales teams through periods of growth, establishing strong operating discipline, and driving results through people, process, and execution
What You Will Do- Lead and execute the company’s sales strategy in alignment with overall business and growth objectives
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives
- Own day-to-day execution of the sales organization, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance accountability
- Partner closely with Marketing to align demand generation efforts with sales execution and conversion
- Establish and reinforce sales processes, tools, and metrics to support scalability and consistency
- Provide leadership support on complex or strategic opportunities as appropriate
- Foster a performance-driven sales culture grounded in accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
- Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and executive reporting
- Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to ensure market feedback informs product direction and go-to-market execution
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships that support revenue growth
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
- 8–15 years of progressive experience in SaaS sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity
- Demonstrated success building and scaling high-performance SaaS sales teams in high-growth environments
- Experience leading teams selling complex B2B SaaS solutions with deal sizes ranging from $50K to $500K+
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, etc.) and CRM systems
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth
- Experience building and negotiating strategic partnerships that contributed to scalable growth
- Proven ability to lead through influence, structure, and clear expectations
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills

In accordance with Illinois pay transparency requirements:
- Base Salary: $140,000 – $200,000 annually
- Variable Compensation: Bonus / incentive plan
- Pay is based on market location, experience, and job-related skills; ranges may evolve based on business needs.
