- Forge multidisciplinary ties to mobilize faculty, staff, and students across campus to focus their skills and visions on cancer.

- Partner with clinical centers and companies to drive translation and achieve economic impact while building alliances with external partners.
- Collaborate with NCI designated cancer centers to contribute to advancements across the national cancer research landscape.
Provide ongoing cancer research data management and oversight using Cancer Center's information systems (e.g., Advarra/EVAL, Snowflake) to meet needs of research and educational program operations, CCIL leadership, and external stakeholders, and ensure rigorous compliance with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) guidelines. Coordinate data collection and provide ongoing maintenance and quality assurance of data, and data reporting; prepare and interpret statistical and informational reports related to CCIL activities (e.g., grants;
publications; educational programs, shared resources; etc.). Analyze various data sets and provide metrics in support of new and ongoing programmatic initiatives, proposals, and projects, as well as operational information to support ongoing evaluation of Cancer Center at Illinois programs, operations, and initiatives.
- Data Stewardship and Systems Management
- Under the guidance of the Assistant Director for Research Administration and in close collaboration with the Cancer Data Development Coordinator, lead the collection, validation and maintenance of data related to CCIL member productivity and activities, including pending and active grants, publications, education/training, and research initiatives across various UIUC departments and groups (e.g., Administrative Information Technology Services, Grainger Engineering Library, Office of Technology Management, etc.).
- Administer Advarra/EVAL, Cancer Center’s information system.
- Maintain and troubleshoot data in EVAL on a regular basis; identify issues and propose solutions.
- Develop and maintain internal processes for data collection, management, reporting, and data quality assurance evaluation.
- Serve as secondary contact with vendors (e.g., Advarra) regarding upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and best‑practice implementation.
- Participate in collaborative forums with vendors and peers from other Cancer Centers regarding best practices, share experiences, upgrades, and new releases.
- Strategic Analysis and Reporting
- Coordinate with the CCIL Administrative Core Team (ACT) during the membership review process by providing data‑driven insights into member activity and productivity.
- Provide support in developing dashboards and statistical reports for CCIL leadership and external stakeholders to evaluate program productivity, return on investment, and shared resource utilization.
