Overview
Senior Construction Project Manager - Regional at Austin Industrial, Inc. This position is responsible for overall supervision and coordination on small to medium size projects, under the supervision of an Operations Manager, with accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance. The role requires leadership to build strong working relationships with customers, owners, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors, and to execute projects in compliance with the prime contract and Austin policies and procedures.

- Provide project leadership for small to medium size projects under the supervision of an Operations Manager.
- Ensure successful project completion by meeting safety, quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, owners, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Execute projects in compliance with the prime contract and company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers; manage site logistics and planning; oversee equipment administration.
- Support development of subordinates and participate in annual reviews.
- Manage project buyout, subcontract negotiations, and bid reviews; forecast costs for self-performed work and ensure resources align with project needs.
- Four-year degree in a technical discipline.
- PMP certification or ability to achieve within 1 year.
- Strong computer, mathematics, communication, and technical writing skills; aptitude for mastering additional required skills.
- Understanding of engineering or construction principles; ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Experience forecasting costs and aligning labor and equipment resources with project needs.
- Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws, ordinances, and building codes related to construction; adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Experience managing Lump Sum, Unit Price, and Time & Material projects.
- Ability to contribute to project pursuits and present to groups or in interviews for projects.
