Hosptialist Nocturnist - Central IL. Client seeking a dedicated BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our established Hospitalist team as a Nocturnist at our main campus in Central Illinois. Practice Details Include:

Join an established and collegial team of 50 Hospitalists who provide 24/7 in-house care Collaborate with night team to address patient admissions and continuum of care Closed ICU; will collaborate with ICU night physician to facilitate patient care Tasks include overnight swing, night triage, and crosscover The Nocturnist will respond to all codes during overnight swing and crosscover between 7p 7a Must be able to work independently, yet collaboratively, assisting the night team as needed Opportunity to teach Internal and Family Medicine residents and/or medical students Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the College of Medicine College of Medicine is the nations first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering The community is a very cosmopolitan place with a variety of restaurants offering international cuisine and a proximity of two large metropolitan areas, Chicago and Indianapolis (only 2-hour drive).
