Overview
The University of Chicago Divinity School invites applications for a full professor position in Catholic Studies, for an appointment date of July 1, 2027, or a later date. The successful candidate will have deep familiarity with the Catholic theological tradition. Disciplinary approach is open.
Salary and BenefitsSalary Range: $150,000 - $225,000. This base pay range is for a nine-month academic appointment paid over twelve months. This position may be eligible for a taxable moving allowance. This position is benefits-eligible. Aboutthe Divinity School
The Divinity School is the graduate professional school for the academic study of religion at the University of Chicago, a private research university. Faculty teach graduate students in its Ph.D., M.A., M.Div., and A.M.R.S. programs as well as undergraduates in the College. A normal teaching load is four courses per year on a quarter system.
