Full-time and Part-time Opportunities Teacher Assistant

Circle Academy, a non-public special education school serving youth ages 5-21, has locations in Champaign County and Vermilion County. We are currently hiring Teacher Assistants for the Urbana and Rossville location.

The Teacher Assistant contributes to the educational experience by supporting certified special education teachers and students in the classroom environment. The Teacher Assistant will help create a structured, nurturing classroom that fosters academic and social growth. ISBE Para-Professional license is required, and previous experience in a school setting is preferred. Successful Teacher Assistants enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Prospective Teacher Assistants must be at least 21 years old, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to maintain our clients confidentiality. Candidates must also submit to a pre-employment physical and background check.

• High School Diploma (or GED) or Associate Degree: $16.77 $ 27.23 per hour

Associates Degree: $18.78 $ 30.46 per hour
