The Department of History at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for a Lecturer position in African American History. Successful candidates will teach the history of Black America 1619 to present and related undergraduate courses.
Lecturers prepare and present lectures, write and grade exams, meet with students, supervise teaching assistants, and assign grades. A Ph.D. in History or related field is required; training in African American History is expected.
