Assistant Principal - Urbana

Join the team at Circle Academy in Urbana, Illinois- a therapeutic day school dedicated to preparing and empowering K-12 students with emotional and behavioral challenges for success in school and in life. We're seeking an Assistant Principal who is passionate about student growth, therapeutic education, and collaborative leadership. Working alongside the Principal, the Assistant Principal role helps ensure a structured, nurturing, and therapeutic learning environment while overseeing:

• Therapeutic programming and data-driven interventions
• Curriculum and instruction
• Academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
• Individualized special education programming
• School safety initiatives
• Extracurricular activities
• Supervision of professional and support staff

Qualifications

• IS BE type 75 Administrative License or Administrative Endorsement (required)
• Licensed teacher (required), LBS I and/or LBS II licensure (preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience working with youth with severe emotional/behavioral challenges (required)
