This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 4770 - Medical Education Program Coordinator position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the close date. The budgeted salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
This position is eligible for sponsorship for work authorization, except for sponsorship of a new H1B petition that would incur the $100,000 fee.

Position SummaryThe Medical Education Program Coordinator supports curricular elements associated with learning objectives and related competencies in pre-clerkship course curriculum. This position functions under the general direction of the Foundational Sciences Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities Foundational Science Course Coordination and Delivery- Work with college leadership and faculty to implement, evaluate, and manage all academic and administrative elements of the foundational science courses to ensure fulfillment of learning objectives.
- Ensure consistent standards and objectives are met and assist students with completion of requirements associated with foundational science courses.
- Manage auditorium, collaboration space, and small group room scheduling and requests for the college.
- Organize medical education instructional activities and materials for pre-clerkship courses.
- Coordinate and support instructional technologies utilized as part of instructional activities.
- Prepare course materials as directed by faculty and course directors, e.g., handouts.
- Work with Simulation staff and other University programs to support simulation and interprofessional education.
- Serve as a resource to faculty and students to interpret educational policies and procedures of the College.
- Collaborate to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum, providing cross coverage as needed.
- Collaborate with the Student Affairs team to coordinate schedules and activities.
- Collaborate with course directors and subject matter experts to implement content for courses and learning modules.
- Develop and maintain course materials on online learning management system, e.g. Canvas.
- Coordinate tracking processes for all faculty providing educational assistance to ensure accurate and complete data is available for payment.
- Gather information, analyze operational practices/workflow, and offer recommendations to create new systems or revise established procedures.
- Coordinate curricula and student activities related to faculty and student development for improvement of curriculum delivery. Offer recommendations to faculty and leadership on program design and delivery.
- Attend regular curricular meetings, faculty and/or staff meetings, and other meetings as assigned. Develop and maintain course materials on online learning management system, e.g. Canvas.
