This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Design Engineer based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Civil Design Engineer will be responsible for civil design tasks, including site planning, stormwater management, and infrastructure system designs. Other tasks will include drafting reports, preparing construction plans and specifications, collaborating with clients and team members, ensuring regulatory compliance, and utilizing advanced software tools for designs and analyses.
The role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality in all project aspects.
- Strong technical skills in civil design, including site and infrastructure planning
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design and analysis tools
- Experience in stormwater management, water supply analysis, and wastewater treatment design
- Knowledge of land surveying principles, regulatory compliance, and sustainable design practices
- Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
