Creative Thermal Solutions in Urbana, IL seeks a Research Engineer/Scientist.

• CTS is a world-renowned R&D company with focus on environmentally friendly energy conversion technologies

Desirable

Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of the thermal sciences
• Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition systems
• Proficiency with MS Office, Engineering Equation Solver, MATLAB, CAD, LabVIEW

Duties:

• Work with a team of mechanical engineers in cutting-edge R&D laboratory environment
• Conduct R&D activities in Thermal and Fluid Sciences, such as design, implementation, and optimization of experimental test facilities
• Independently conduct experiments, analyze/reduce/interpret data, prepare presentations and reports, and interact with customers
• Activities will frequently combine theoretical knowledge and hands-on application
• Successful applicant possesses strong work ethic, is self-motivated and driven, has exceptional problem solving skills and a natural curiosity for the unknown

Required Qualifications:

BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering or other applicable engineering or science fields.
