Agricultural Loan Officer

We are a community bank in Whiteside County looking for an Agricultural Lender to join our team. This role works closely with local farmers and ag businesses to support their financial needs and help our bank grow.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of agricultural lending experience and a good understanding of credit underwriting. This position will take over an existing loan portfolio while also focusing on building new relationships and bringing in new business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow an existing ag loan portfolio
• Develop new ag lending relationships in the local community
• Analyze financial statements and underwrite loan requests
• Structure loans and work through the approval process
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and bank partners

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of agricultural lending experience
• Solid understanding of credit and underwriting
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Knowledge of local agriculture is a plus
