Join a leading asset management firm as a Financial Reporting & FP&A Manager on a fast-paced, high-performing finance team based in Chicago
. This is a hands-on role with a 60% accounting & reporting / 40% FP&A split, ideal for someone coming out of Big 4 public accounting who is seeking broader exposure, ownership, and impact.
This high-impact position combines core accounting and reporting responsibilities with FP&A, analytics, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple priorities effectively, and brings strong analytical, communication, and advanced Excel skills.
Experience with tools such as Power BI, Power Pivot, Power Query, Alteryx, Workiva, or Asana is a plus. The role offers meaningful exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to support strategic decision-making during a period of growth and transformation.
- Firm-wide financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Exposure to senior leadership and high-visibility deliverables
- Mix of close, reporting, FP&A, and ad-hoc analytical projects
- Opportunity to participate in process improvement, automation, and systems initiatives
- Excel skills will be assessed during the interview process
- 3–6+ years of Big 4 public accounting experience
- Financial Services experience required (Asset Management, Banking, Brokerage, PE, etc.)
- Exceptional candidates outside FS considered case-by-case
- Background in Audit or Tax (open to strong Tax professionals looking to transition)
- CPA completed or in progress strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
