Senior Finance Associate

Overview

Senior Finance Associate in the Global Payment Network Finance team. The associate will perform core Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) duties, including managing monthly processes and forecasts, reporting and analysis to support presentations and ad hoc requests, preparing profit & loss or other statements, building reports for higher level associates, and conducting scenario planning to advise senior leadership.

This role will contribute to the storytelling that goes to the Finance Senior Leadership team, including the GPN Finance CFO. You will partner with Finance leads and Global Payment Network business partners to drive strategic direction and sustainable performance, and you will be asked to challenge current processes to be more proactive, effective, and efficient. • Deliver accurate, meaningful, and efficient financial forecasts and management reporting to help partners achieve financial objectives
• Financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and P&L management
• Coordinate and collect input data from Business and Financial Analysts across departments, verify data integrity, summarize and convert data, run models, and communicate outputs
• Develop presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences and clearly articulate outcomes to leadership teams
• Handle ad-hoc requests and special projects

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis
• At least 2 years of experience with financial modeling

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar)
• Master’s Degree (MBA or Finance)
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis
• 4+ years of experience with financial modeling
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries are for candidates hired to work in the specified locations and reflect the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked. Riverwoods, IL: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Financial Analyst.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location, and the actual annualized salary offered will be reflected in the offer letter.

This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives may be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
