Asset Management Analyst

An Investment Management Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Asset Management Analyst. This role will follow a hybrid schedule.

• Collaborate with underwriting teams to onboard newly originated investments, ensuring accurate setup and data integrity.
• Conduct monthly valuations of illiquid securities and periodically present findings to the valuation committee.
• Perform independent internal valuation analyses, integrating financial statements, deal structures, market data, and other relevant investment factors.
• Develop and maintain financial models to monitor issuer performance over time.
• Perform other duties, as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial consulting, investment banking, asset management, or a leading public accounting firm.
• Solid understanding of debt instruments and capital structures.
• Hands‑on experience with debt and equity valuation, three‑statement financial modeling, and in‑depth financial analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; capable of building and manipulating complex financial models.
