We are seeking an analytical, detail‑oriented Paraplanner to support our financial planning team. The ideal candidate enjoys the technical and research aspects of wealth management, has a strong foundation in financial planning principles, and is interested in progressing toward a CFP® designation or a planner role over time. This role blends analytical work, planning deliverables, and firm support to help deliver a high‑touch client experience.

Key Responsibilities Planning & Analysis
  • Gather and organize client financial data, including income, assets, liabilities, and goals.
  • Conduct detailed research on investment options, retirement strategies, tax planning techniques, insurance, and estate planning fundamentals.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, projections, and plan summaries for advisor review.
  • Assist in developing preliminary financial plans and strategies under advisor supervision.
Technical & Deliverables
  • Maintain and manage financial planning software inputs and plan models with accuracy.
  • Support plan updates, scenario analysis, cash flow models, and retirement projections.
  • Create client follow‑up materials, meeting preparation notes, and deliverable outputs.
Client & Team Support
  • Attend client meetings with advisors to take notes and help prepare follow‑up items.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of plan components and tasks.
  • Monitor plan progress and help track deliverables to completion.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, Money Guide Pro ) a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
  • Desire to pursue CFP® or other advanced planning credentials.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams with high attention to detail.
