Seeking a Compassionate, Skilled, Occupational Therapy Assistant
Join the team at Clark Lindsey! The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) helps people develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living. COTAs focus on the practical application of therapy, using processes such as engaging in activities to optimize independence.
- Implement treatment interventions according to occupational therapist-developed care plans.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) / instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) training, adaptive equipment practice, and functional tasks.
- Observe, document, and report resident progress and changes to the supervising OT.
- Follow safety and compliance standards.
- Support wellness and restorative programming.
- Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active Illinois COTA license.
- CPR certification.
- Experience with adult and geriatric populations strongly preferred.

Compensation and BenefitsThe pay for this PRN position is $35.00 per hour. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
