Position: Medical Assistant - Adult Medicine on Windsor
Overview

The Medical Assistant plays a key role in creating a smooth, supportive care experience for patients and families. This position helps maintain essential clinical supplies, keeps patient flow running efficiently, and works closely with physicians and nurses to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care.

Healthcare experience is a plus, and we welcome applicants who are Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistants (RMA).

Qualifications

• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire — American Heart Association (AHA)
• Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Work Experience:
  • Some Healthcare experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine direct patient‑care tasks to support medical and nursing staff during examinations and treatments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and private patient‑care environment
• Communicate effectively with patients and all healthcare disciplines
• Collect and process specimens accurately
• Obtain and document vital signs with precision
• Perform ear irrigations
• Conduct patient screenings
• Verify medications as required
• Order and maintain clinical supplies
• Carry out selected procedures, including suture and staple removal and ear washes

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $17.12per hour - $27.73per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
