• Licensure required in most states.
• Certification from ARRT in Radiation Therapy.
• Current CPR Certification.
• At least 18 months of radiation therapy experience, ideally in a critical care setting.

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation for cancer treatment.
• Discuss treatment plans with patients, in partnership with clinical oncologists and physicians.
• Establish correct dosage and treatment area.
• Educate patients on potential side effects and their management.
• Safely administer radiotherapy.
• Operate radiotherapy equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Provide quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient‑focused, compassionate environment.
• Promote a safe work environment following national patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate treatment records.
