We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a hybrid position, and it requires the coordinator to work in our Bannockburn, Illinois office at least two (2) days per week. This role provides critical operational support across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, and internal communications.

- Hybrid Position – work remotely 3 days per week!
- Compensation: $23 to $26 per hour (Full-Time, Non-Exempt)
- Manage the recruitment funnel by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, and coordinating interviews.
- Draft customized offer letters and oversee pre-employment screenings (background, driving, and drug tests).
- Execute the onboarding workflow in HRIS, ensuring new hire data is accurate and welcome communications are distributed.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee benefit inquiries, life event changes, and COBRA administration.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of benefit invoices to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate bi-weekly Health Savings Account (HSA) uploads and assist in executing the Annual Open Enrollment period.
- Communicate bi-weekly bonus payments to the Payroll team to ensure total compensation accuracy.
- Direct the end-to‑end production of the company newsletter to drive employee engagement and culture.
- Oversee the Labor Law Poster Program to ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support special HR projects and process‑improvement initiatives as assigned.
- 1+ years of professional experience in human resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- True team player mentality with the ability to support diverse HR sub‑functions and jump in where needed most.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- This is a hybrid role requiring the ability to work in‑person at our Bannockburn, IL office two days per week.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions necessary for high‑volume data entry.
