OverviewKane County is seeking senior-level strategic IT resources to assist with enterprise planning, architecture, governance, compliance, risk management, and budget planning. This role may include CTO-level advisory services for County leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Develop IT strategy roadmaps aligned to County goals.
- Support enterprise architecture planning (current/future state).
- Evaluate infrastructure/application modernization opportunities.
- Assist governance models, risk assessments, compliance planning.
- Develop budget forecasts and IT investment planning.
- Support policy development (security, data, systems governance).
- Provide executive advisory support to County leadership.
- Enterprise systems planning and architecture
- Governance + compliance + risk management
- Budget planning and prioritization
- IT modernization planning / strategic advisory
- Government advisory experience
- Large organization enterprise architecture experience
- Experience presenting to executive leadership / boards
