As a Presales Consultant / Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE) at Teceze
, you will partner with Client Executives, Account Managers, and Client/Account Teams to deliver end-to-end technical pre-sales support for customers across India and global accounts (including finance customers operating out of India).

. You will support customer engagements through discovery, solution design, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts—delivering outcomes that are technically sound and commercially viable.
This role requires up to 50% travel
, depending on customer and business needs.
As a CSE, you will bring strong technical pre-sales capability to customer engagements—supporting local and global pursuits as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in customer meetings, technical workshops, whiteboard sessions, and solution presentations
- Performing technical discovery to understand customer priorities, constraints, and architecture requirements
- Designing solution architectures and translating requirements into proposals, diagrams, and executive-ready presentations
- Supporting proof-of-concepts (POCs/POVs), solution demonstrations, and validations
- Working closely with Account Teams to build relationships, create demand, and progress opportunities through the pipeline
- Collaborating with OEMs and strategic partners to align solutions, validate designs, and optimize commercial outcomes
- Continuously expanding technical breadth across emerging infrastructure and cloud technologies
- Act as the technical pre-sales lead for Modern Data Center Infrastructure solutions
, including: - Converged & Hyperconverged Infrastructure
- Virtualization, Containers, and Kubernetes
- Backup & Disaster Recovery
- DC build elements (racks, power, cooling infrastructure)
- Conduct market and account research to identify opportunities and map customer needs to Teceze GTM priorities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor
, proactively identifying pain points and proposing solutions (including unsolicited proposals and responses to RFP/RFI) - Translate technical requirements into business-aligned solutions with clear value positioning
- Create Level of Effort (LOE) documents and contribute to solution scope definition and validation
- Build and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) aligned to customer requirements
- Take technical ownership of final solution definition inputs into Statements of Work (SOW)
- Build strong relationships with OEMs and partners to improve solution quality, deal velocity, and win probability
- Use OEM processes/tools to optimize configurations, validate BOM/BOQ, and support solution defense and objection handling
- Ensure proposed solutions meet customer functional, technical, and operational requirements when implemented
- 10+ years in Enterprise Data Center environments and 5+ years in technical pre-sales / sales engineering (preferably within a System Integrator
) - Strong exposure across a broad combination of Data Center Infrastructure OEM ecosystems
, including: - Compute, Storage, Racks
- Storage networking
- Backup/DR
- HPC networking
- Hybrid cloud
- AIOps (desired exposure)
- Strong understanding of DC infrastructure solution sizing, best-practice architectures, and industry use-case positioning
- Deep end-to-end understanding of modern DC architecture—from infrastructure through OS, middleware, containers, storage, and compute
- Experience selling and designing solutions for large enterprises
, including HPC and hybrid cloud environments - Hands-on experience with OEM BOM/BOQ configuration tools for solution creation and validation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to:
- Create high-quality technical content and customer-ready documentation
- Deliver presentations to both technical and executive audiences (1:1 and 1:many)
- Lead technical objection handling and solution defense
- Run POCs and solution demonstrations
- Strong market awareness of current trends and evolving innovations in the IT infrastructure landscape
