Overview

The Courier transports mail, supplies, bank deposits, pharmaceuticals and lab specimens to Carle and non-Carle facilities. Also performs mail sorting function.

Certifications:

Driver's License - Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS)

Work Experience:

Customer service

Transports supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals, bank deposits, and lab specimens to Carle and non-Carle facilities delivering them electronically with the use of a handheld scanning device. Ensures that assigned vehicle, pool vehicles and other equipment are clean and in good repair. Resolves customer related issues and assists with locating lost or missing items. Performs STAT runs as needed. Conducts assigned delivery route efficiently while always maintaining safe driving behavior.

Ensures supplies/specimens are transported intact. Transports hazardous materials safely and in compliance with policy. Picks up USPS mail as assigned. Assists in shipping, receiving and stocking supplies.

The compensation range for this position is $15.13 per hour – $24.51 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
