Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Today, the Housekeepers of Upper Crust pride themselves on cleaning the Sorority and Fraternity houses of hundreds of members across the country.

We are seeking a positive, dedicated, driven housekeeper to join our growing company providing housekeeping services to group living environments. You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and other general residential cleaning duties. Attention to detail and experience with customer service is required.

• Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products in excellent condition; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products
• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed
• Dispose of trash and recyclables from bins and containers
• Dust, polish and vacuum furniture as needed
• Scrub sinks, basins, showers, and toilets in bathrooms
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed
• Keep all public spaces neat and tidy
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Place orders, receive deliveries and process paperwork for supplies

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education
• Physically able to push vacuum cleaner and or mop for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 25 to 30 pounds
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time
• Previous experience of cleaning preferred;
• Pay attention to detail when cleaning
• Organized and able to follow a schedule
• Ability to follow verbal directions
• Working knowledge of email, Microsoft Office or Google Suite
