This role offers the opportunity to directly shape the performance, accuracy, and long‑term strategy of a critical operations function, giving you ownership of processes that drive reliability and working‑capital improvement across the entire plant. As Storeroom Manager, you will make a measurable impact every day by leading transformation, partnering across teams, and ensuring the right materials reach the right hands at the right time.

As a
** Storeroom Manager**, you will be responsible for ensuring effective execution of all storerooms operational processes, measuring, and improving stock accuracy and service level, and leading a multi-year improvement in working capital through ownership of inventory management processes.

This role reports to the Maintenance & Reliability Planning Manager.

* What you will do:

*** Ownership of all storeroom processes, including new item entry (NIFS), receiving, inventory control, and materials issuance.
* Creation and execution of preventive inventory care routines—such as motor turning—and conducting audits to ensure storeroom accuracy, readiness, and overall condition.
* Analysis of key storeroom performance indicators and application of continuous improvement tools to address deviations and enhance operational results.
* Development of a job‑kitting strategy in collaboration with maintenance planners to improve efficiency in executing planned work across the plant.
* Systematic evaluation of inventory suitability as part of the annual obsolescence review.
* Determination of appropriate inventory stock levels, partnering with procurement using criteria such as criticality, movement history, lead times, and vendor recommendations.
* Fostering effective communication with stakeholders, including maintenance teams and plant coordinators, to quickly identify and resolve system or service failures transparently.
** What you will bring:
*** Progressive experience in maintenance, operations, or manufacturing storeroom management, including demonstrated success in leading teams.
* Proficiency with SAP or other CMMS platforms as they relate to maintenance workflows, inventory management, and data‑driven decision‑making.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
* Working knowledge of Reliability‑Centered Maintenance and Lean Six Sigma, with a willingness to pursue Lean Specialist certification.
* Ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments while driving creative, innovative problem‑solving and challenging traditional methods.
** Who you are:
*** Demonstrated ability to manage expectations and provide direction to a contract workforce while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
* Proven capability to drive accountability using objective, data‑based metrics.
* Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components along with best practices for material handling and storage.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to learn and apply Ingredion’s GMP, Quality, and Safety standards.
* Physical ability to navigate processing areas—including climbing stairs and ladders—and maintain the visual and physical requirements needed to perform all job functions.
