Environmental Manager

I have a great position overseeing the environmental footprint for a multisite specialty alcohol manufacturer. While a 9-5 job, their plants are in 24/7 production, and since this is due to retirement, there will be a 5-month transition from the retiring Environmental Manager.

• Proactively ensure environmental compliance and lead the organization to implement changes
• Liase with local, state, and federal environmental agencies
• Administer and create all regulatory reporting, tracking, incidents, and programs
• Lead the environmental specialists, defining roles and responsibilities
• Record master for all compliance information

• 7 years of environmental experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing plant
• University degree related to chemicals, environmental, or manufacturing
• Air and water permitting, compliance tracking, documentation and reporting
• Annual reporting for TRI, AER, eGRRT and other NSPS/NESHAP requirements.
• Waste management and reporting for hazardous, non-hazardous, and special wastes
• Effective presentation and communication skills to work with agencies and internal teams
• Inspections and compliance plans for: SWPPP, SPCC, FRP, FPOP, etc.
• Physically be able to navigate a large plant

My client has the normal bells and whistles in regard to 401k and health care, but their stock program and free gym perks do set them apart.
