Overview
$10,000 Sign ON Bonus for experienced inpatient RN's only (minimum 2 years of experience). 3-year commitment. External applicants only. Special pay for floating after orientation.
Qualifications- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year – American Heart Association (AHA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days – American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Nursing Diploma
- Work experience:
RN in inpatient setting, >2 years
Performs all unit responsibilities and duties within the scope of service. Implements procedures and theories related to specific practice area. Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation to support the healthcare team. Completes initial assessment upon patient admission, develops appropriate plan of care, and modifies the plan based on continuous evaluation. Provides direct nursing care and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members. Floats to various inpatient units including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs (if applicable).
Completes Unit Nurse Leader training as required. Precepts staff from various units and coordinates care to facilitate the highest possible quality patient care.
The compensation range for this position is $35.22 per hour to $60.58 per hour. Compensation will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package.
