Travel RN - Cardiovascular ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU/Step-Down position requiring Epic EMR experience and a minimum of one year of nursing experience, working night shifts at a Level 1 Trauma facility in Illinois.

Job Details

• Cardiovascular ICU and Step-Down unit in a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes post-op CABG, vascular surgery, and ICU-status patients,

• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week,

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts),

• Epic EMR experience required,

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temporary license accepted),

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required,

• Minimum one (1) year of relevant nursing experience required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Level 1 Trauma experience required,

• Associate's degree (ASN) required; BSN preferred,

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include direct patient care, initial assessments, care plan development and modification, hourly rounding, and accurate nursing documentation,

• Candidates with a history of continuous assignment at this health system exceeding one year must complete a 6-month break in service before returning,

• RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract,

• Maintains unit-based and hospital competencies and a clean work environment
