Hospitalist - Advanced Practice Provider

Overview

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our growing Hospitalist Team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

• Dedicated team of APPs that collaborate with Hospitalist physicians to care for observation and inpatient hospital patients.
• 12‑hour shifts
• Mostly day/evening (7a‑7p) shift hours
• 4 weekend shifts per 4‑week blocks
• 3 holidays per year

• Master's degree in Nursing (ACNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant
• At least 2 years of APP experience required

• Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must satisfactorily complete all continuing education including NIH Stroke Scale certification regarding the care of acute stroke patients

Champaign‑Urbana is a micro‑urban community offering excellent schools, a vibrant downtown, the University of Illinois, Big‑10 sports, and a lively college‑town atmosphere, including the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.

The compensation range for this position is $60.72–$78.94 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
