Overview
Carle Health is seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our Level III NICU team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details- Join a growing team of 8 Nurse Practitioners and 6 Neonatologists
- 48-bed NICU including a 14-bed step-down unit
- Dedicated 24‑hour Neonatologist physician team coverage
- Schedule will consist of a combination of 10‑24 hour shifts, depending on experience
- 600+ admissions and 3000+ deliveries per year
- Attend high‑risk deliveries and perform standard NICU procedures such as intubation, lumbar punctures, PICC lines, umbilical catheterization, and chest tubes
- Dedicated Neonatal and Perinatal air and ground transport team
- Flexible schedule including evenings, nights, and holidays
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- PA applicants will need to have completed a NICU APP Fellowship or have previous experience practicing as a NICU PA
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse license
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification and licensure required
The compensation range for this position is $64.03–$83.23/hour. This represents a good‑faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
