Overview
Carle Health is seeking an additional Advanced Practice Provider to join our busy Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details- Variable/rotating schedule: 12‑hour shifts, 13‑14 shifts required per 4‑week block. Schedule rotates shifts monthly, including days, evenings, and overnights. 3 holidays per year (one being Christmas or Thanksgiving) / 4 weekends‑shifts per 4‑week block
- APP friendly group including over 15 APPs, 45 EM Physicians and on‑site ED Pharmacists and ED Social Workers. No EM Residency Program
- Evaluate and treat patients with ESI 1‑5
- Level 1 Trauma Center with an average of 200‑300 patients per day, over 92,000 visits per year
- 24‑hour in‑house coverage provided by Anesthesiology, Hospitalists, OB/GYN, Intensivists, Pediatric Hospitalists, PICU, and Trauma Surgery

- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Medicine APP experience required
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure or Physician Assistant licensure

Compensationand Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $63.72 - $82.84/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
