Staff Registered Nurse (RN)

provides direct patient care, primarily for CVMS patients such as post-op CABG, thoracotomy, and vascular surgery cases.

They are responsible for performing initial assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and updating care based on continuous evaluation.

• Key duties include maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring patient and employee safety, communicating effectively with the healthcare team, and offering constructive feedback for peer development.
• Qualifications include an active RN license, BLS certification within 30 days, ACLS certification within one year, and a high school diploma or GED.
• Skills required include clinical competence, strong communication, teamwork, safety awareness, and a proactive approach to learning and assisting colleagues.
• Additional responsibilities involve maintaining departmental competencies, keeping the work environment clean, and participating in hourly patient rounding.
