Carle Health is seeking experienced and motivated CRNAs to join a highly collaborative team of more than 60 CRNAs at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice with a high level of autonomy in a dynamic academic, research, and Level I trauma setting—while enjoying exceptional work-life balance, strong clinical support, and a highly competitive recruitment package.
Opportunity Details- Join an autonomous, team-centered department of more than 60 CRNAs performing over 19,500 cases annually at an established research and teaching hospital
- Practice at a Level I trauma center with exposure to a broad and diverse case mix
- Enjoy a predictable schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week with no in-house call
- SECOND call schedule includes only 2–3 weekends per year, 1 holiday per year, and weekday call approximately once every 3 weeks
- CRNA subgroups covering OB, pediatric, and heart cases
- Perform cases across all surgical services except transplants and burns
- Practice with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining strong collaboration with anesthesiologists
- Receive a $100,000 signing bonus and 40 hours of front-loaded PTO as part of a competitive recruitment package
- Comprehensive benefits include 5.4–6.4 weeks of PTO, 6 paid holidays, a floating holiday, 1 week off for CME, annual CME allowance, malpractice insurance, retirement matching, annual bonus, and 457(b) retirement eligibility
Education Requirements:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing Anesthesia
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Illinois CRNA license

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $321,568 - $360,173. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
