Travel RN - Ortho Inpatient 3 12hr Nights REQ: (Full Time)
Location: Urbana, IL

• Pay Rate: Up to $63/hr combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change.

Orthopedic nurse specializes in caring for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, providing pre- and post-operative care, administering medications, assisting with rehabilitation, and education patients and families.

• Assess ortho and medical/surgical patients every shift.
• Educate ortho and medical/surgical patients on wound care, proper mobility, self-care, medication management, care transition needs and any additional patient specific needs.
• Coordinate with physician and surgeon partners on the care of ortho and medical/surgical patients.
• Set up ortho traction and manipulate surgical traction devices for mobility and wound care.
• Manage wound appliances such as wound vacs, drains, pouches and other urological devices.

• RN license in state of assignment.
• BLS (AHA) required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• This is a float pool position must have Trauma 1 and Epic experience required.
