RN Nurse, Staff Nurse
The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility for a group of patients, delivering care through the nursing process, utilizing current trends, technology, and resources within the institutional philosophy.
Key responsibilitiesinclude performing unit-specific duties, implementing and modifying care plans based on assessments, and maintaining accurate documentation. The RN conducts initial patient assessments, develops and adjusts care plans, and ensures patient and staff safety by addressing hazards. They communicate effectively with colleagues, provide constructive feedback, and identify personal learning needs. Additional duties involve assessing IV sites every 4 hours, initiating IVs per policy, and ensuring documentation standards are met.
Attendance at staff meetings and recognizing patient status changes are also essential.
including current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, an active RN license, and the ability to perform clinical assessments and interventions. Strong communication, teamwork, safety awareness, and documentation skills are required to support high-quality patient care.
