DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with an active IL RN license and Level 1 Trauma center experience for a night shift assignment.
Details- Emergency Department setting within a hospital
- Night shift schedule from 3:00PM-3:00AM, 3 shifts per week, 36 hours weekly
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage on a rotation basis
- 2 call shifts required per 6-week schedule period, each 13 hours with expectation to report onsite within an hour
- A 2-week nights rotation is required for all travelers
- No block scheduling available
- Uses Epic charting system
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions
- Collaborate with providers, patients, and families to develop and modify individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation
- Promote a safe environment for patients and staff by identifying and addressing safety hazards
- Offer constructive feedback to peers to support professional development
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not be continuously on assignment for more than 1 year at this health system without a 6-month break in service before returning
