American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level 1 Trauma experience, Epic charting proficiency, and current ACLS/PALS certification.
Details- Emergency Department setting within a hospital environment
- Day shift schedule, 7:00AM-7:30PM
- 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
- Weekend and holiday shifts required as needed
- Floating required as needed
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Emergency Department setting
- Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and continuously evaluate and modify care as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation
- Collaborate with providers, patients, and families to deliver safe, high-quality care
- Report and correct safety hazards to ensure patient and staff safety
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 year at this health system without a 6-month break in service
