Job Summary: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources. The RN ensures patient safety, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care. This role requires effective communication, continuous learning, and adherence to departmental competencies.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Illinois state RN License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
