Job Summary: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to a group of patients within a designated time frame. Utilizing the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources, the RN ensures the delivery of high-quality care in alignment with the institution's philosophy. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation of nursing interventions, continuous evaluation, and maintaining accurate documentation.
The RN also prioritizes patient and employee safety, communicates effectively with colleagues and families, and actively engages in professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Illinois state RN License in good standing
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- PALS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
