American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring Trauma 2+ experience and Epic proficiency.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Trauma 2 or higher experience required
• Night shift schedule: 1:00PM-1:00AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage on a rotation basis
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active IL RN license in good standing
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association)
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Trauma 2 or higher experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• TNCC certification preferred

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with providers and families
• Implement and modify nursing interventions based on continuous patient evaluation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote patient and staff safety
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not work continuously for more than 1 year at this health system without a 6-month break in service
