RN - Med​/Surg

Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a unit with 29 private and semi-private rooms, focusing on conditions such as diabetes, cellulitis, CHF exacerbation, infections, sepsis, pain management, cardiac dysrhythmia, and comfort care.

• Performing initial assessments and developing individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.
• Implementing and modifying nursing interventions, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining patient safety.
• Delegating tasks to healthcare team members, monitoring task completion, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Administering medications accurately, responding promptly to patient requests, and conducting hourly rounds.
• Communicating effectively within the healthcare team to coordinate care, ensure patient safety, and address changing patient conditions.
• Promoting a positive work environment and adhering to safety standards such as fall precautions and pressure ulcer prevention.

• Licensed RN with a valid license from the relevant regulatory body.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform assessments, interpret vital signs, and provide patient education.
