  • Schedule: Flexible 4‑day work weeks with rotating 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Saturday shifts

What Our Certified Veterinary Technicians Bring

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Illinois
  • Strong skills in anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, and laboratory procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can‑do attitude

  • Commitment to compassionate medicine and a great client experience
  • A positive attitude, compassion, and genuine enthusiasm for veterinary medicine
  • Experience with large animals or mixed practice is a plus — but a solid small‑animal background and great attitude go a long way!

What You’ll Do

  • Confidently handle and restrain both small and large animals
  • Perform technical procedures, including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis, and radiology
  • Assist in surgery and manage anesthesia safely and effectively
  • Provide excellent patient care following established treatment protocols
  • Support doctors in exams and communicate clearly with clients and teammates
  • Keep organized and multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Participate in continuing education and mentorship opportunities
  • Communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence
