Associate Professor, Clinical Imaging Research

This role involves leading translational and clinical neuroimaging research using ultra-high field MRI, primarily at 7T, to expand the research portfolio into areas such as pharmacologic MRI, cancer imaging, and psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Conceptualizing, designing, and managing research projects involving advanced MRI technology
• Developing protocols, acquiring and analyzing data, and publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals
• Establishing and leading an independent, externally funded research program
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary investigators and mentoring students and fellows
• Presenting research at scientific conferences and fostering internal and external partnerships
• Providing service through teaching, committee participation, and peer review activities
• Maintaining knowledge of current research literature and regulatory requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Science, or related field
• Experience in medical imaging, with a focus on MRI procedures and protocols
• Proven success in research with peer-reviewed publications and external funding
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment and manage multiple priorities
