Overview
Position Summary... What you'll do...
Responsibilities- Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; touring stores and providing feedback; communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; introducing and leading company change efforts and providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manage and support customer service initiatives (e.g., store/community initiatives and outreach programs); ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved; develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership for high-quality customer experiences.
- Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L statements; assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; index activities to sales; monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing associates, and promoting a belonging mindset; recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and growth potential.
- Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, identifying goals, building accountability, and communicating progress.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support mission, values, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in executing business processes and practices.

The hourly wage range is $31.25 - $38.46 per hour, with potential bonuses and benefits described below. - 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
- Associates will be required to attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (through Live Better U and Bellevue University), Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership (through Live Better U and Bellevue University), and experience supervising 5+ direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
