Annuals Sales Associate

Help make our community more beautiful—one plant at a time. We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Annual Sales Associate with a passion for plants and gardening.

Position Overview:

This role focuses on assisting customers with selecting annual flowers and plants for their homes and landscaping projects. Ideal candidates have experience with annuals through nursery work, landscaping, greenhouse production, or horticulture education. This is a great fit for someone who has plant knowledge and loves to work with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with plant selection and designs
• Maintain and care for annual inventory (watering, planting, deadheading, organizing displays)
• Load and unload plants for customers
• Keep the department clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry plants and garden materials
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to commute to Urbana, IL (Required)
• Must relocate before starting work (Required)

Schedule:

• 5 days a week with one weekend day required
• Seasonal, full-time
• Paid time off
